Sixties. Beautiful coloring with greens, grays and orange is the result
of the laminated construction - a thin layer of the mottled strands
sandwiched between thicker layers of transparent acetate makes the colors

Collector's
Must Have!: “Tina” – a fantastic 1950's ‘cats
eye’ upswept design in cherry/gray blend. These new shallow-eye
frames are a real period find for a collector and they should take prescription
lenses too. Ironically they will look the height of fashion today as well
with their shallow depth. They feature shiny gilt finish aluminium sides
and a gold decorative trim on the temple. [they were probably made by
M Bender in Australia, but there are no labels or markings to confirm
this]
